The National Procrastination Association

I realized today that it’s pretty funny if you replace the word fibromyalgia with
procrastination. Like this bit from the Wikipedia article on fibromyalgia:

Many patients experience cognitive dysfunction (known as “brain fog” or “procrasto-fog”), which may be characterized by impaired concentration, problems with short and long-term memory, short-term memory consolidation, impaired speed of performance, inability to multi-task, cognitive overload, diminished attention span, and anxiety and depressive symptoms. “Brain fog” may be directly related to the sleep disturbances experienced by sufferers of procrastination.

Or, from the National Fibromyalgia Association — that is the National Procrastination Association:

The NPA has a network of support groups across the United States. We encourages participation of the procrastination community. The National Procrastination Association has a network of support groups across the United States, and encourages participation of the procrastination community. Participation in support groups can provide an opportunity to reach out to others who have had similar challenges and foster an improved understanding of lifestyle management.

Thank God. I’ve finally figured it out. I have procrasto-fog. I need a support group to focus on lifestyle management.  I’ve have to see if I can get around to that.

By the way, I do apologize to anybody who actually has fibromyalgia. Sorry about that one. In the name of comedy.
