2 Sentence Review: Food Party
Created and hosted by the super cute mixed media artist Thu Tran, Food Party is an eleven-minute morsel of the most absurd foodie fantasy brought to life on the Independent Film Channel. Every Tuesday night, from her cardboard kitchen set, Tran arbitrarily renders recipes from leftovers, candy, condiments and sometimes the murdered corpses of her puppet friends that she lovingly sacrifices for the sake of her strange meals¾ all blended for quite the course…a rare delicacy reminiscent of Pee-Wee’s Playhouse with a dash of Tim and Eric Awesome Show for good measure.
