In my typical heel dragging fashion I’ve waited a week to jump into a debate that is by now probably completely out of the minds of most who were involved. Although really, that isn’t quite fair to myself. The subject of the value of followers and their role in my twitter experience as a...

Overwhelmed by E-mail: New Year’s Resolutions for Gmail
I am google’s biggest fan. No really. Google’s seemingly, endless capacity paired with its A+++ search tool is a hoarder’s dream come true. Exhibit 1: The 2,000+ e-mails in my inbox for my main (personal) e-mail account. Who knows how many more e-mails I’d find, archived away, if I ever were to click on...

Get Rich Quick with Web 2.0 (Part 1): Network & Chat at the Watercooler – A How-To Guide on LinkedIn and Typing (I mean, Twittering)
I’m simply boggled by the multitudes of articles out there that are dedicated to teaching people how to use “social media 2.0.” If people take the time to sign up for the site, enter their name, their e-mail, create a password, verify that they’re human(ness)…don’t you think they should be smart enough to know...

Virtual Worlds Forum – Postponed!
I wish I lived in London. If I did, I’d want to go to the Virtual Worlds Forum that was originally scheduled for October 6 – October 8, 2008. Unfortunately, a shooting caused the event to be postponed until further announcement. Maybe someone can buy me a pass for when it’s rescheduled? Or, maybe...

Recommendation: Fetch
Having tried other FTP/SFTP clients, I’ve found that Fetch works the fastest for me and does not crash my computer. (…always a plus when you’re working with an iBook G4 that’s cracked right where the power adapter plugs in and, therefore, needs a little coddling to stay charged!)

embarrassing screen name talk.
what was your first screen name? i hope it was something along the lines of: “anfbeachbumxoxo14″ or “tennistar4″ or “doggyluva33.” If you are traditional and just had a “Initials/Birthday/Year” then don’t even bother posting because you need to reevaluate your personality and creative side. inspiration: KTB506 (kimbo the bimbo + address)
