Daily Red (Wine)

Our Daily RedWine lovers with a taste for organic rejoice. Check in with your local wine shop/state store to see if they carry any selections by Orleans Hill Winery. Their 2005 vintage “Our Daily Red” (A blend of Fresno Syrah and Carignan and Mendocino Cabernet Sauvignon) evades pretense with its price ($9.99) but will impress Whole Foods snobs with its USDA Organic certification and lack of sulfites. Contrary to the picture (right), the bottles sport (and boast) screw tops.

OrleansHillWinesI haven’t tasted their other varieties, including Lodi Syrah and Well Red (exclusively at TJ’s), but, given the value, I’ll throw out recommendation on spec. Cheers.
