R.I.P. MITCH MITCHELL
For those of you who don’t know him, Mitch was the leading drummer in the Jimi Hendrix Experience, most noteably for the years around 66′ to 69′. Before that he played in much smaller, British psych bands, such as The Pretty Things. He was found dead in his hotel room on November 12, 2008 in Portland, OR. You will be missed. As Chris Prorock said in light of this tragedy, thanks for the epic grooves.
